I am a motivated individual with a passion for all things interactive and a devotion to technical development. I am drawn to new opportunities to expand my working knowledge of technology, with a focus on web and app development and their dissemination to various devices.
As a developer, I pride myself on attention to detail. As an artist, I hold high standards for user experience and the visual integrity of a project. I have a highly logical approach to solving technical problems and experience in presenting to and working with all ages and skillsets.
SkillsetWhile completing my master’s degree in 2018, I had the privilege to meet a few talented individuals who, along with myself, co-founded a branding and marketing company based in Indiana.
I was hired by Garfield creator Jim Davis to help give insight into emerging technologies. This has been anything from transitioning flash projects into responsive websites or mobile apps to creating backend content management systems.
I was a founding member of a Chicago-based production company now known as Polymyth.
My freelance work varies from audio/visual production to website development. I've had the opportunity to work with industry professionals, international characters and brands.
I graduated from Ball State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications. While attending, I was a recipient of the David Letterman Scholarship, chosen to do the motion graphics for the documentary Movers and Stakers, and was one of four students chosen to crew a documentary aboard the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise as well as produce videos for AT&T.
In 2017, I decided to go back to get a Master of Arts degree in Emerging Media Design and Development. I was a graduate assistant to the program and worked on developing immersive learning exhibits for memorabilia donated to the university by David Letterman. I also helped lead the development team for a new digital literacy website featuring Garfield.
I continue my education today by researching developing technologies through online courses from sites such as Laracasts, Digital Tutors, and Lynda.com.
TechnologyMany clients rely on the fact that I not only have the skillset to bring their vision to life but the resources as well. Over the better part of the last 10 years, I have built a studio that caters to multimedia development, with quality being the driving force behind the decade of accumulated tech. I am more than happy to use these resources to help any of my employers and can provide more details about what I can offer upon inquiry.
